Mukesh Patel is an entrepreneur, CEO, and advisor with experience spanning private equity, venture capital, innovation, technology, business law, and education. He has founded numerous ventures, raised significant capital across more than 100 investor partners, and been featured in national media — including Entrepreneur.com naming him one of "The Hot 30 Movers and Shakers of New York City's Startup Scene."
He was founder and CEO of JuiceTank, New Jersey's largest co-working space and incubator for tech startups, and founded VX, a venture xcelerator providing advisory and consulting to corporations, non-profits, and emerging growth ventures on innovation, scale, capital raising, and strategic leadership.
As an award-winning professor (Asst. Professor of Professional Practice) at a Big Ten public research university, he teaches Strategy, Management, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, and Strategic Transformation & Change Management, and serves as Lead Faculty for Executive Education. He is founding Director of the Innovation Lab for Social Impact at the Honors College, founding Director of Development and Co-Adjunct Professor for the Entrepreneurship Law Clinic at Rutgers Law School, and Director of the Collaborative for Tech Entrepreneurship & Commercialization (CTEC).
He holds a J.D. from Fordham Law School and a B.A. in Economics & Statistics from Rutgers (Summa Cum Laude, Henry Rutgers Scholar, Cap & Skull), with minors in Computer Science and Cinematography — a deliberately interdisciplinary foundation spanning business, data, technical problem-solving, and creative storytelling that still shapes how he approaches innovation today.
